In order for studies to be accurate, every household must be given the chance to participate, including people with unlisted phone numbers. For many studies, a computer randomly generates the phone numbers that are called, or telephone numbers are obtained from public records. In other studies, researchers call customers of companies who want you to evaluate their product or service. In these cases, the client company provides your name and number. No matter how your number was selected, it will remain confidential to the researcher and will only be used for the specific project it was intended for.

If you are screened for a study and do not qualify or are not put on hold, all the information you provided to us is destroyed immediately. We only keep a record that we contacted you and you did not qualify for the study, which is then destroyed within 90 days after the study. It is important that for our research studies we have a proper mix of demographics and that it matches who our client’s typical consumer is. The information which you provide is kept strictly confidential and is never released to a third party.
Once you are recruited for a study a representative from our office will contact you within a few days to a week (depending on the study date), to verify the answers you provided when you were originally screened. It is important that you call us back to go through this process as it is required in order to participate. Furthermore, it is ADM’s responsibility to contact you each day until we hear back from you so we can confirm that you still want to participate in the research.In addition to a call to verify your answers, you will receive a confirmation call a day or two before the study to ensure that you are still willing and able to attend. Only a select group of people are invited to these groups so it is very important that we confirm we will have the correct number of respondents at the study for our clients.Simply put, our clients hire us to recruit a certain number of people who fit the specifications they have provided us, so we go through these steps to ensure we have found exactly what they are looking for.
As with every study, we have certain specifications which our clients provide us for the research project and not everyone qualifies. Sometimes we may screen over 100 people just to find the right set of people we need. But do not be disappointed, there are always new studies taking place so you will eventually qualify for one.
